Rumford Rumford is the loony guy in the basement of CSI's Washington, D.C. building. His 'office' is a mess, and so, apparently, is his mind. He darts around, rambling, like an eccentric deli owner behind the counter--but there's no deli. Just a concrete block basement. My guess is that they keep him on the payroll because he knows about some big skeletons in CSI's closet. go to Chapter 1
